Plagiarism & Retraction Policy

Jurnal Penelitian has a zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate).

Similarity Threshold:

• The maximum acceptable similarity is 20%.
• Manuscripts with a similarity score above 20% will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

Types of Prohibited Plagiarism:

• Direct plagiarism — copying word-for-word from another source without attribution.
• Mosaic plagiarism — combining phrases from various sources without proper attribution.
• Self-plagiarism — reusing one's own previously published work without citing the original source.
• Data fabrication — creating non-existent data or research results.
• Data falsification — manipulating data or research results.

Retraction Policy:

• Articles proven to contain plagiarism or other ethical violations will be retracted from publication.
• Retractions will be clearly announced and marked on the respective article.
• Authors proven to have committed ethical violations will face sanctions, including a ban on publishing in Jurnal Penelitian for a certain period.
