Journal of Public Transportation Community is published by the Center for Research and Community Service (Pusat PPM), Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya, with e-ISSN 2808-3393. The journal is published twice a year, in April and October.

The Journal of Public Transportation Community publishes scientific articles derived from research activities, community service programs, innovation initiatives, literature reviews, and analyses of contemporary issues related to transportation, public services, and community development. The journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating conceptual ideas, empirical findings, applied innovations, and scholarly contributions that support the advancement of transportation systems and public welfare.

In line with its focus and scope, this journal welcomes manuscripts related to transportation management, transportation systems and engineering, public transportation, community empowerment and public services, education, social sciences and humanities, new and renewable energy, electrical power systems, electronics, control systems, communication, and information and communication technology. These areas are considered relevant to the development of modern transportation services, including land, sea, air, and multimodal transportation systems.

As a journal published by Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya, the Journal of Public Transportation Community also accommodates aviation-related studies, including air traffic control, aircraft engineering, flight operations, aviation education and training, airport services, aviation communication, navigation systems, aviation safety, and the application of digital technology in aviation and public transportation services.
