Journal Description

Approach: Journal of Aviation Technology (ISSN: 2548-8090; E-ISSN: 2548-8104) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya as a platform for disseminating research findings, scholarly studies, and innovative developments in the field of applied aviation technology. The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge on the application of technology within aviation systems, aviation safety, air transportation and airport management, as well as technology-driven innovations in aviation education and training. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, air navigation, communication and surveillance technologies; automation and digitalization in aviation operations; human factors and aviation safety; Safety Management Systems (SMS); airport technology and smart airport concepts; technology-based air transportation management; and the integration of simulation, digital systems, and emerging technologies in aviation education and professional training. Approach welcomes research employing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches, including case studies, system evaluations, and design or development research that contribute to improving safety, efficiency, sustainability, and human performance in aviation. Approach: Journal of Aviation Technology is published biannually, with issues released in March and October, and is intended for academics, researchers, practitioners, educators, and policymakers in the aviation sector at both national and international levels.
