Abstract
In order to participate in the issue of non-renewable fossil energy where the efforts made by researchers are among others finding new sources of energy reserves and optimizing combustion to save fuel. One of the optimizations of the combustion process is by researching the addition of an Ignition Booster and variations in the Spark Plug. This research method uses a qualitative method in the form of data visualization, namely to prove whether the addition of Ignition Booster affects the spark or not, which is done by testing the Spark at a gap distance of 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, and 4 mm. and testing using Ignition Booster and without using Ignition Booster. The results of visual testing on the ignition system using the Ignition Booster proved that there was an increase in the results of a larger and stronger spark. In the ignition test, the Spark Plug Fine Wire and Massive comparison proves that the Fine Wire ignition is better and the ignition distance test results in a greater binding of sparks using the Ignition Booster compared to the ignition system without using the Booster, and the optimal distance in the test is at a distance 1mm.
