Studies may employ quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental or quasi-experimental approaches, case studies, action research, research and development (R&D), or other scientific approaches appropriate to the research objectives. Manuscripts must present a clearly defined research problem, a rigorous and accountable methodology, findings based on data analysis, a discussion linked to previous studies, and a clear scientific or practical contribution.<br />Community Engagement and Applied Community Service Article<br />Articles presenting the outcomes of community engagement or community service activities that are conducted systematically and based on the needs of the target community or partner institution. Manuscripts must demonstrate the authors’ direct involvement, clear identification of community or partner needs, an explicit intervention method or approach, active participation of the community or partners, and evaluation of the activity outcomes. Articles must provide evidence of measurable impact or change, such as improvements in knowledge, skills, competencies, behavior, service quality, technology adoption, or other benefits for the target community. Manuscripts that merely report activities, provide documentation, or describe program implementation without outcome evaluation and scholarly contribution will not be considered for publication.</p> <p><br /><strong>Review Article</strong><br />JPTC may consider review articles that provide critical synthesis and conceptual contributions to topics relevant to the journal’s focus and scope. Accepted review types may include systematic literature reviews, scoping reviews, and bibliometric reviews, provided that they present a clear review question or objective, transparent literature search and selection methods, systematic analysis, and meaningful outputs such as a synthesis of findings, identification of research gaps, conceptual models, or future research agendas. Narrative literature reviews that merely summarize previous studies without a clear and systematic review methodology are not prioritized.</p>
