Antennas play a large role in telecommunications in the world. There are various types of antennas, one of which is the microstrip antenna. This microstrip antenna has several advantages including practicality, relatively light weight, smaller dimensions, and ease of planning and manufacturing. This research uses the principle of reconfiguration at frequencies of 1030MHz and 1090MHz using a capacitor as a frequency switch. This research will try to design and analyze the performance of reconfigurable antennas using the CST Studio Suite 2019 application as a form of antenna learning media at frequencies of 1030 MHz and 1090 MHz and must have a VSWR parameter value of 2 and return loss value of 10dB.
