Abstract

The attendance system is important in managing the presence and activity of cadets in an academic environment. The aim of this writer is to implement a design teaching and learning process attendance system using Android-based GPS to facilitate effectiveness and performance at the Suarabaya Aviation Polytechnic. This attendance application uses Laravel as a program to create its web application, the research method used is the waterfall method and uses architectural design. The results of testing the attendance system web application, the application is able to process and record attendance data as expected and the results of the data displayed can be seen in the web application admin system. Based on these data, the existence of this design technology can facilitate the effectiveness of lecturers and administration in monitoring cadets as well as accurately carrying out attendance and the application of this digital technology system can reduce the use of paper and the time needed for manual attendance processes to have a positive impact on environmental sustainability.
