Abstract

 The development of digital technology significantly influences the learning process for every level of education. Advances in educational and learning technology require the use of technology-based learning media. The mastery of technology in the learning model can increase student interest in participating in the teaching and learning process. A person's interest in participating in the teaching and learning process in an educational environment is influenced by the way a teacher presents learning material. the use of technology can develop an interesting learning model for education. The learning model used in this study is the 3D JT8D engine in the Aircraft Gas Turbine Engine course using Unity software. Media development is carried out using research and development methods, with validity testing by media experts, and user testing. The average percentage of assessments was 84.17% from Media Experts and 88.89% from users, in this case course lecturers. It can be concluded that the results of the research in the form of 3-dimensional interactive learning media are suitable for use as teaching materials for lecturers as well as learning resources for students.
