Abstract
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is currently the busiest airport in Indonesia. Airport operators must ensure that the layout and marking of airside areas allow for safe and smooth movement of passengers to and from the terminal area. The layout of markings and facilities can contribute significantly to passenger safety and security. For example, there is a passenger path marker that aims to help regulate the movement of passengers who board or disembark the plane. The author of this study discusses the passenger path markings on the alpha apron of terminal 1 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport which is currently only available limited to the front of the aerobridge. The purpose of this study is to find out how the condition and use of Passenger path marking on the air side of terminal 1 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The data collection method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method by collecting data through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of this study can be concluded that passenger path markings are very important and need to be considered for the existence of new markings that can regulate passengers passing on the air side on the alpha apron of terminal 1 Soekarno-Hatta International Airport safely and smoothly.
