Abstract

Security systems are needed to detect early fires that can be monitored and integrated to provide information precisely and quickly so that fires do not grow bigger. Design the existence of an integrated fire based on NodeMCU esp32 using esp32 as the main controller and then use supporting components such as smoke sensors and fire sensors installed in several places that function as fire detection. Data from sensors is sent through the Telegram application, so that it can be received by the user and the data is displayed in the application with real time light. The final project aims to design and build a fire potential monitoring system using IR Flame sensors to detect the presence of fire and MQ-2 sensors to detect the presence of smoke and gases. This research method uses research and development (R&D) methods. R&D research methods with 3D development models are define, design and develop. Design this fire potential monitoring using NodeMCU ESP32 as the microcontroller, and sensors used IR Flame sensors to detect the presence of

fire, and MQ-2 sensors to detect the presence of smoke and gases. The result of this study is that the NodeMCU ESP32-based fire potential monitoring tool using IR Flame and MQ-2 sensors can function properly and can detect the presence of fire, smoke and gas. The IR Flame sensor is capable of detecting at a distance of 10-330 cm. The MQ-2 sensor is capable of detecting at a distance of 10 cm. Response data notifications are sent to the Telegram application and can be accessed by users via PC or Smartphone using an internet connection.
