Abstract
One of the developments in radio communication technology is SDR (Software Defined Radio). SDR is a software-defined radio and uses a USB donggle to receive direct radio signals with a frequency range typically of 500 kHz – 1.75 GHz. The study was conducted with an RTL-SDR receiver connected to the Raspberry Pi as an operating system to be forwarded to the Dump1090 software as a signal processor and displayed the results of the received signal. This research aims to create learning media at the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. The signal receiver design using RTL-SDR and Raspberry Pi OS works well, the signal received by RTL- SDR can be processed properly by looking at the results of dump1090 displaying aircraft information. With this learning media, it is hoped that cadets can practice the process of transmitting and receiving signals effectively and efficiently and more easily understand the material
